🏙️My North Phoenix View
Quick local insight from your neighborhood’s front porch
After last week’s charter school chat, I wanted to shift gears a bit — but still stay local.
Everywhere you look, it seems like another development is popping up. Some are apartments, some are new homes. Some are new homes for rent—WHAT!! And everyone has an opinion.
What’s better for North Phoenix right now —vote below.
Which do you prefer? |
Rentals provide options to those that can’t or don’t want to buy. That’s a good thing. Homes provide that opportunity for homeownership. With the growth of TSMC and North Phoenix, and yes, land is being developed—we need affordable housing. Homes-for-rent communities, to me, are a good thing.
Here’s what else is moving and shaking around town.

A Message From Vice Mayor Ann O’Brien
If you’re able, I hope you’ll consider helping Phoenix families and individuals facing increased food insecurity with the temporary suspension of the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
The City is partnering with St. Mary’s Food Bank in launching a Citywide Food Drive to ensure residents have access to nutritious meals. You can find drop off locations at City facilities and learn other ways to help at www.phoenix.gov/hungerrelief
