Show me da money!!! Or houses, right?

A lot of homebuyers think the Realtor’s job is to show them homes. Or to find them homes.

Yes, we have a lockbox key. Yes we can help you get into a home. But that is possibly the smallest part of what our job is really about.

With the Internet, Zillow, Redfin or whatever site you use-you are 90% of the time looking at what we are looking at. It’s not a bother for me to show homes. It’s part of my job. But there have been hundreds of times my client has told me they didn’t want to bother me when they wanted to look at a home.

My job goes way beyond finding you a home, sending you a home, and showing you a home. It’s the negotiations, handling of repair requests, finding contractors potentially, ensuring the loan/hoa/title process goes smoothly.

So, when you finally have your keys to your new home and you’re like, I don’t know why Blair got paid so much for doing so little—it’s because my 25 years of experience allowed things to go smoothly so issues would not pop up.

Am I perfect? No. Can mistakes be made? Sure. Will I be the reason you find your home? Maybe. Will I be the reason you are in your home and happy? YES.
