Keeping You Connected In North Phoenix
Best Pizza?
A few weeks ago, a Community member asked about good thin crust pizza. The overwhelming feedback was Trevors has amazing pizza and he should check it out.
My wife and I decided to stop by the one off of Mayo in Scottsdale since we had been wanting to try them too (and I didn’t even know they had pizza).
Before I get into my review, my reviews are just that. Some of the results are good, bad, or meh. We can disagree. We can agree. And guess what—we’re all entitled to our opinions :-)
I was ecstatic to see our good friends’ beer from Kitsune here: The Forager. |
We shared a beet salad which had some good possibilities but…it was soppy wet. If that is how it always is—cool? I guess? There could have been some nice flavor but it tasted like it was swimming in a pool of water. |
My wife is Vegan so she ordered a pizza with no cheese. And I got the margherita. Yes, it’s bland and basic. But that gives me a chance to compare the same thing wherever I go. Yes, I’m that qualified as a food critic. ;-) |
There was a mixup in the kitchen because they thought my pizza was no cheese too.
I was not a fan at all. The cheese was totally less than mid. There wasn’t enough basil. It may have slightly been overcooked. It tasted like someone messed up, threw it together and messed up more. Sorry not sorry. And boy did that piss some people off. That I am somehow not allowed to voice an honest opinion (that guess what? some others agreed with).
The waitress was kind enough to offer a free desert because of the mixup. Now, does their pizza suck all the time? I doubt it. Would I go back? Yes. Do I think if you screw up a basic pizza it’s harder to make tougher pizzas? Yes. Am I trying to ruin them? No. I will try them again and give honest feedback—even if it is outstanding.
For now—it was less than fire (if you know what I mean).

An Apple Home?

A client asked for some help in selling these cool little homes. I made a quick post and it exploded! Close to 200 comments and almost 1/3 the Group saw it! WOWZA!
By the way, if you are interested, let me know. Oh, and it’s called Apple because the manufacturers think the white/glass/black makes it look like an IPhone.
