Little Light Bags Everywhere

My wife and I have had an annual tradition of going to the Desert Botanical Garden for their Noches de Luminarias. We usually go in December, and it is always fun to have a date night, enjoy the cool(er) weather, music, stars and all the lights.

But what we also tried (again) was Gertrudes, the onsite restaurant. The first time, years ago, was a complete disaster. This time, not so much.

So pictured above are the lights (obviously), then the super delicious beer I had (local Hazy IPA—-soo soooooooooooo good), a unique twist on hummus (with chili), and an amazing hamburger (yeah the fries were good too)

Service-good. Vibe-good. Food-fire. Price. Good. Overall experience-fire. We will be back.
