Something's Brewing in North Phoenix

Caps + Teeth + Margs + Cards + Water + Tips

From The Desk Of Your Mayor

We have had a crazy busy few weeks and are so excited. First and foremost, we are now proud to be partnered with Deer Valley Unified School District (DVUSD). If you live in the DVUSD, make sure to follow our updates.

2nd-I recently met with the Owner of Caps, a North Phoenix restaurant/bar that is a staple for wings and watching every sport. You know me—I’m not gonna pretend I wasn’t already eyeing the menu while talking partnerships. So be on the lookout for a fun bar hopping event at Caps and other events!

Blanco’s Review

If you love tasty margaritas, you’ll want to visit Blancos.

The margarita was deeeeelightful. The guac and chips were pretty good. I ordered the fish tacos and wasn’t overly impressed-other than the serving size. This is the new Blancos in the old PV Mall.

Plus, for the price-meh. But if you are looking for a good drink/margarita and maybe an appetizer, I’d recommend going.

Have you been? Hit reply and tell me what YOU think of their margaritas.

A Message From The Vice Mayor

The City of Phoenix Water Services Department is looking for residents to serve as ambassadors for water conservation. The department is recruiting for its fall cohort of Water Wranglers, volunteers who are trained in peer education, community outreach and solution-oriented communication.

They attend public events and share information about how to use water wisely in the desert, like upgrading to water efficient appliances and learning how to detect leaks. Water Wranglers play an important role in ensuring a sustainable water future for Phoenix. You can find more information and apply here. Thank you!

From Neil, Our Personal Injury Attorney

Many people worry about other drivers’ insurance, but the real game-changer might be your own Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist (UM/UIM) Coverage—often overlooked yet crucial.

After an accident, you may receive a seemingly friendly call from the other driver’s insurance adjuster asking for a recorded statement—but proceed with caution.
