Will You Be My Gyro?
Keeping You Connected In North Phoenix
An Honest Review…
I recently visited The Greek Pita because I was in the Norterra area, was tired of pizza, didn’t want fast food and I can’t eat chicken.
I decided to order the beef lunch special. I had been there once before and the previous time it was ok. It wasn’t any better this time, and in fact, it was probably not as good. The meet was rubbery(ish), the pita was tasty, the dressing was ok, the fries were meh. And the pricing was garbage. $17 for a lunch special for fries gyro, and a drink? IMB (in my book) that is way too high.
Here’s what it looked like. You be the judge. Fyi, my daughter’s ranking would be this is less than “mid.”

Were You There?
5 months ago we had our Inaugural Valleypalooza event. As the event started this past year, and attendees were rolling in, I had a lot of feelings; which included gratitude and amazingness.
What started with an idea for a Community Group for recommendations for an Indian food restaurant now would have close to 1000 people in person for a live historical event.
Our Community came together in huge fashion to support everyone involved. Each time I watch this I get goosebumps. If you only have 15 seconds, give it a watch.
If you have 75 seconds, I would encourage you to watch this one
Valleypalooza 2025 is going to be BIGGER and BETTER than 2024. And we need your help. We’re looking for artisans, artists, small local businesses, car dealerships, local museums, local gyms, local schools. And we need YOU to attend.
Need help? Have suggestions? Enjoy this newsletter? Have feedback? Our Community is only as good as our engagement. Let me hear from YOU!
